Summer volunteers with Renegade Paws Rescue, Tharros Place, and Justice Unites Savannah Together. She is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Savannah.
Her hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, hiking, deep conversations, pottery at Savannah’s Clay Spot, sitting at coffee shops, and spending quality time with her husband, dog, and friends.
Biography
Summer Granado, APRN-PMHNP is a Savannah native. She earned her BSN at Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2010 and her MSN at Georgia Southern University in 2025. She is proud of her 15 years of bedside nursing experience and excited to transition to an advanced practice role.
Summer is passionate about offering a holistic approach to overall wellness by addressing mental health concerns through medication management, bibliotherapy, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing and building therapeutic relationships. Her approach to care includes collaborating with you to create an individualized treatment plan based on your strengths. Summer believes each person possesses the power to heal themselves by overcoming past and present hardships and trauma. She is looking forward to getting to know you and being a part of your healing journey.
Some issues to address under her care may include anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, loneliness, low self-esteem, trauma, attention-hyperactivity, insomnia, life transitions, psychosis, disordered mood, and personality disorders.
