Biography
Teneka Gerido is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Master Addiction Counselor. She earned her Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from South University, Savannah, Ga Campus in 2011. She has over 13 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and Other Diverse Populations. Teneka has had the pleasure of working in school settings, in-home, an inpatient treatment facility, an outpatient clinic, and with clients in penal settings. Teneka has extensive experience providing treatment for youth and at risk-youth and young adults. She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD. She takes a patient-centered approach to psychotherapy that focuses on meeting the individual where they are, building a therapeutic relationship, and working together to achieve treatment goals.
Teneka enjoys working with patients of all ages and is currently accepting new therapy clients to begin their healing journey.
