Biography

Michael Porter is a Licensed Professional Counselor residing in Georgia. For more than seventeen years, Michael has helped people that are suffering from anxiety, anger, depression, marital conflict, parent and child conflict, and adolescent behavioral issues. He has previously worked as a special education teacher, an advocate for at-risk families, and as a university counselor; thus bringing a variety of clinical experience to his seventeen years as a mental health therapist. Michael has worked extensively with military families and the unique issues they face as they serve our country. Michael holds a Master of Education in Counseling from Georgia Southern University and Juvenile Sex Offender Counselor Certification from the University of Louisville Kent School Of Social Work. As a Savannah native, Michael enjoys spending time in the city, and with his family.
