Biography
Teneka Gerido, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Master Addiction Counselor. She earned her Master of Art Degree in Professional Counseling from South University, Savannah, Ga Campus in 2011. She has over 13 years of experience with working with Individuals, Couples, Families and Other Diverse Populations. Teneka has had the pleasure of working in: school settings, in-home, an in-patient treatment facility, outpatient clinic and with working with clients in penal settings. Teneka has extensive experience providing treatment for youth and at risk-youth and young adults. She specializes in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, PTSD disorders. She takes a patient-centered approach to psychotherapy that focuses on meeting the individual where they are, building a therapeutic relationship, and working together to achieve treatment goals.
Teneka enjoys working with patients of all ages and is currently accepting new therapy clients to begin the journey of healing with.
